I’m back to you loves after an involuntary silence. Although fall season is making its way in, with this look, we are still in sync with the bright summer tones. This look was one of my favorite this summer, mainly because of the highlight color: I’m talking about this beautiful leaf green! On top of that, the cut and detailing on these pants were a definite yes for me! They were curve hugging without being too revealing, and the wide leg cut gave it a classy and sophisticated touch that I
 surely love.

Summerific Elegance

Hey loves!

It has been a little (long) while since I have served you with some tasty fashion love! I do apologize for that, the lady has been pretty busy lately! But, well, she’s back tho, ahha 🙂 Is it just me or there is some kind of chemistry between yellow and chocolate skin?? Well let me tell you, this summer, I am all about that loves. I just feels like it brings out the tones and undertones of our complexion so beautifully without any added extravagance.

Coucou mes amours!

Enough said, here is a sneak peek at one of my favorite Kimono-style dress in YELLOW of course. Get ready for more of that color-pop! Meanwhile, enjoy and let me know what you think of this pretty simple yet elegant look.

And while you’re at it, remember that yellow is a happy and bubbly color, only a smile can be the ultimate accessory to complete the look!

Thats all for the day. I hope you enjoyed it. Make sure you show some love my darlings. Like, share, comment, do it all…I love seeing your feedback!

Hi Loves! Last month, my sweet baby C.J turned ONE! Yes!!! Given our busy schedules and all the stuff we were dealing with, his dad and I decided to wait until late February to throw him a decent first birthday party, which actually happened to be a combined party for him and his dad, since dad is a member of the  #FebruaryGang lol.

Well, on Sunday mama took matters in her own hands and played “Event planner”. Actually, she started way before Sunday!

Since we were celebrating the men in my life, I picked a theme centered on “Gentlemen”, because that’s just what they are: my gentlemen!

What comes in mind when you think about gentlemen? Well I see: helper, kind, polite, elegant, clean, bow tie, polished, mustache, etc

With that in mind, I went ahead and researched budget friendly decorations and accessories with a Black/Gold color scheme to give the whole party decor a touch of sophistication.

Here’s what I used:

As for the highlight of any kids party, I am talking about the cake, I had the pleasure to work along side Mrs Darcy Lynn from Cakes by Darcy, a super cute bakery nestled in the heart of Roswell. The ordering process was super smooth, and I was so happy to FINALLY find someone who understood my vision instantly without asking me thousands of questions lol! Also, they helped me greatly price-wise, which was a plus, given that the budget was not unlimited!

And Oh?! Did I mention that she loved my design so much that she actually made it a template?? I was so honored!

As you can see, the cake is kinda tying the whole theme together, marrying the black/gold color scheme with the gentlemen theme. And here is a sneak peek at the party!
Be mindful that It might get you hungry!

A word of advice, make sure you plan some good entertainment for the kids to stay busy and active. For us, CJ’s ball pit did the trick…until they all crashed into his room ahaha!

I hope you loved it, thank you for reading!

Please leave me your feedback below and few design ideas.

Also I’m curious to know? what was the theme on your child’s first birthday? did you include any games and other entertainment?

Hi loves!
The day after MLK day! Hmmm…well, let’s just say I woke up in a dashiki-ish mood this morning!

Generally speaking, when I see people rock their dashiki garments, it’s always in casual outfits. But, in actuality, dashiki pieces can also be dressed up. Here is my take on a more put-together dashiki outfit, and I hope it will get you inspired!

I paired it with a pair of black leggings, topped with a black military-style fitted  blazer. To kinda keep it on the minimalist side, I went for black on black accessories, with these gorgeous peep-toe zipped front booties and and black and gold purse.

It is as simple as it looks really. Obviously, the highlight of this look is my dashiki shirt in pink tones. You can take any direction with it. If you want it a little more formal, throw in some suit pants and a pair of black suede pointy heels instead, and voila!! I might actually try it myself pretty soon, and let you see the final result. Meanwhile, let me rock this one look for the day!

Neutral Color-blocking

Hey loves! Is it Christmas yet? Ho-ho-ho… Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄

To wish you all a wonderful Christmas, I decided to share with you my look of the day: a tasteful nude overlay, with a camel and black color-blocked waterfall jacket.

I was looking for a way to style my newly acquired faux leather midi skirt for a family outing in the city. After careful consideration (lol, I sound like I’m writing a super formal report omg! ), I decided to go for something monochromatic. So I paired the skirt with a nude turtleneck…

And then tried out a long-line coat. But I hated the complete look with that beige trench coat. So, instead I threw in my favorite piece of the whole look: My oh so awesome statement jacket.

To carry along with the the color-block theme, I decided to complete the look with black sheer tights, my go-to Black and gold booties for a nice glam-touch and a matching black and gold purse.

There is something bold and assertive about thick black stripes, that just elevated the whole outfit! So to spice it all up, I added a cool dome hat. Put on my Versace sunnies…and off we went!

For some, minimalist fashion is a bit too cold, as it tends to lack rich tones! But quite frankly, this neutral look definitely brought a lot of warmth to my day, and I looooooved it! I hope you did too.

Don’t forget to leave your feedback. Like, share, comment, whatever it is, lets keep the fun rolling!
Have a blissful Christmas celebration, and happy holidays! 🎄🎄🎄💫
